this album just really planted in my soil and grew onto me. this lovely album really knows how to take care of my emotions as well as the plants around me that also dance to these songs as well as I do. full spathiphyllum swing! may the rest of the world find and cherish this peace for all eternity!

So I happened upon this album at 3:44pm. liked the album art. hit play. halfway through Slaughterhouse it was in my wishlist. then halfway through Why i hit the buy now button. I would have bought the cd or vinyl but I have just paid the mortgage. yeah I know it's 13 days late. Anyway after that I downloaded to my phone and immediately decided to leave work and go home. lucky for me there was a little traffic and I got to listen to the album twice! this is probably my best review ever.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately.
